Chappellet’s long-time winemaker Phillip Corallo-Titus (and frequent 100 point Club recipient) selects the very best blocks and barrel lots from the Attelas and Edcora Vineyards on the Atlas Peak estate to craft this PEAK Napa Cab. 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, aged in 75% new French oak — it’s a DOOZY!!! If you love BIG, Bruce Lee butt-kickin’ mountainside Cabernet, man this is it. HUGE, dark, concentrated and NOT FOR THE SHY. Bakers chocolate, wild, brambly blackberry puree, kirsch, plums and blueberries, with a minerally, crushed rock note and exotic, toasty Asian spices (looking at YOU, star anise), plenty of graphite, and this sweet, luscious vanilla bean kiss on the velvety finish. BOOyeah!! Drink it over the next 2 DECADES if you can wait that long!!
