Timbre Pinot Noir The Headliner Pali Vineyard Sta. Rita Hills 2022

94 POINTS, people! A Pinot Noir with “notable finesse and elegance” that Antonio Galloni marked as an “exquisite, nuanced Pinot”. Sign me UP!!!

Musicians in da house? Then you know what “Timbre” means.

Don’t know? It’s a 94 POINT bottle of Pinot Noir love from the slammin’ good ‘22 vintage – one that James Suckling described as “PURE PINOT MAGIC” in the Central Coast haven of Santa Barbara!!! No cap, friends – magic – and that’s is exactly what we have here!! $75 at the winery, cut down with the giant Last Bottle scimitar by a full TWO-THIRDS – and then…THEN…we took EVERY LAST BOTTLE of this baby off their hands. Don’t even bother trying to find this anywhere else – we got it all! This is a sell-out alert of the highest order…so whatever you’re gonna do – do it FAST!

Oh yeah, for those who DON’T know – Timbre means “the characteristic quality of a sound, independent of pitch and loudness, from which its source or manner of production can be inferred.” But musicianship aside...WOWEE! That delicate potpourri floral aroma! The baked summer strawberries, and that powdery, intoxicating tomato leaf note, with pomegranates, and wild cherries, little red plums, and tease of blood orange, all uplifted with this minty, rocky, ever-so-light and deft minerality that has this SOARING! Folks, I’m gonna need HUZZAH that goes all the way back to the cheap seats! Only $25!!! What?!?!?

Winemaker Josh Klapper tasted a 1945 Chateau Latour ($7K? $10K a bottle?) back in 2005 and well, that was it. His epiphany moment struck him to the core and he became a sommelier before moving into winemaking under the steady hand of the legendary Bob Lindquist of QUPE. Anyway, through serendipity and wicked negotiating...we scored THIS! I said 94 POINTS, right? And that whole 66.66666% off thingt too? The Mark of the Beast never tasted so good!

While it lasts!!!!
