Salvestrin Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2022

“Napa has a long history of immigrant families coming to the valley and helping to fuel the wine industry. Names such as Mondavi, Gallo and Martini are well-known to many wine lovers. The Salvestrin name is one that probably isn’t, but should be.” – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator

THAT is what I’m talking about!!! SALVESTRIN is in da’ house this Memorial (and memorable) Monday! 95 POINTS, good people, for UNDER $30! And if you don’t know these guys by name, I’m pretty dang sure you know them by the vineyard plot they have owned since 1932…DR. CRANE, anybody??? Arguably St. Helena’s most famous vineyard, planted in 1857, and these folks bought their stake at a time when it was ILLEGAL to make wine! Just one short year later, Prohibition was repealed — and well, the rest is history!

Talk about good fortune! And it’s going around, good people — ‘cause we’ve scored this at the hands-down BEST PRICE anywhere!!! We’re talking about OVER 60% OFF, and a full $28 less than the next best price on the planet — so who’s ready for CRUSHABLE and quenchable Napa Cab?!

I’ve got the grill fired up — nothing fancy, just burgers and dogs…and you’d best believe there’s a glass of this nearby! 95 POINTS on this “truly remarkable…levity with generosity…fresh and inviting” vino — sign me up ALREADY! Not heavy, not oaky, just pure berry and cherry driven Napa Cab to its inky, rich core. And that, my friends, is enough! It is medium weight, but with a smooth and mouth-coating finish  — and these little pops of spicebox, and leather, and freshly-dug earth that just checks off all of my Cabernet love buttons. UNDER $30 Napa Cab is rarer than $5/gallon gas in California these days, and to have one that squeezes in a fair bit of one of Napa’s most cherished and historic vineyard sites, too?!?! Just STOP IT!

Bad news bears’ time, folks — we barely have enough for a Holiday Monday — so do what you must and grab some of this while the getting is good!

Happy Memorial Day!
