With ONLY 252 cases ever made of this bad boy – NOW is the time to jump all over this! The winery sells it at $140 – but here at Last Bottle ground zero…we’re blowing this out for UNDER $40!!! Just an unimaginable savings, folks, & winemaker extraordinaire Kevin Morrisey adds another feather to his storied cap as one of Napa’s tippy-top best off-the-radar winemakers. UC Davis grad, who picked up and moved to France to work in the cellars at a little spot called Château PETRUS!!! How’s that for a proving ground?! He’s been killing it in Napa & beyond for decades (Ehler’s Estate, Etude, Stags’ Leap…) – with the kingmaker himself, Robert Parker, calling him a “tour de force in the Napa Valley” & “a master of his craft.” Plus…he’s just one heck of a nice guy!
The wine is KILLER, too! Tons of high-toned red fruits – black cherries, sweet raspberries, ripe plums, with this wet slate & crushed gravel structure, some big ol’ tannins – but cocoa butter smooth – with hints of vanilla, & star anise, even a whisper of black truffle. 100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON that flat-out delivers!! 94 POINTS & one unbeatable, lower-than-ever before price!!! Who doesn’t get all warm & fuzzy at the thought of that?!
