What a way to kick off my favorite month!!! 62+% OFF, and so feisty and spicy, and let’s be real…filthy rich – it could give Heather Locklear on Melrose Place a run for the money. Cat fight alert! Acre got started in 2002, with the mantra of “One Acre, One Guy, One Wine” – but all that shifted almost overnight, when the OG wine bested over 500 other top-level entries in a well-regarded international wine competition…the portfolio expanded soon after, yet the focus remained the same: organically grown grapes, family-owned sites, and artisanal, small-lot winemaking to the highest standards. That’s what is absolutely ROCKING my world this morning – a Merlot so tasty I want to go back in time and fight Miles from Sideways. (And who steals money from their own mother’s wardrobe, anyways?! Yeeesh!)
Pulsing and pumping with oodles of blackberries, and this sexy savory aspect of black cherries and old-fashioned root beer, with some pretty floral notes of lavender and vanilla giving that perfect bit of lift to all these heady spice cake notes like anise seed, and wine-baked plums, and marjoram, with a little kiss of velvety dark chocolate truffles. It’s full, and flavorful, and flat-out tasty – even at the full retail of $48 a bottle! But OVER 62% less makes this too good to ignore…so grab a couple bottles while they last, won’t ya?!
